Procedures for Accessing Services

Renewal of Passports

1. Zambian nationals wishing to renew their passport through the Embassy should make the application for renewal at least six (6) months before the expiry date or with a minimum number of three (3) pages remaining in the current passport
2. For details regarding the required documents and other processes for renewal of passport, the applicants should contact the Embassy Front Desk.
3. Kindly note that Passports are only processed in Zambia by the Passports Office, therefore, applicants must ensure that they submit their applications to the Embassy on time to avoid inconveniences.

Travel Documents of Identity

A Travel Document of Identity (TDI) will enable a Zambian National to travel One Way and Directly to Zambia in the case of an emergency. For details regarding acquisition of a TDI, applicants should contact the Embassy Front Desk.

Issuance Of Visas

1. The Embassy is mandated to issue Visas to Turkish nationals only. Applicants of other nationalities wishing to travel to Zambia should apply for Visas through the online system.
2. Applications for Visas will be processed within ten (10) working Days from the date of receipt of the application.
3. No refund will be made for rejected visa application.
4. No refund will be made for rejected visa application.

The Embassy Front Desk will provide guidance on procedures and other requirements for Visa applications.

Visits to the Embassy for Consular Services

All visits to the Embassy for Consular Services are by appointment.
The Consular Office will attend to Consular matters from 12:00 hours to 15:30 hours during normal working Days.

Fees for various Consular Services
